Morena Dancewear is delighted to introduce the pinnacle of Tango dancing excellence. Prepare to be captivated as we proudly present the Australian tour of Daniel Nacucchio & Cristina Sosa, esteemed Tango World Champions of 2008. From September 20 to October 2, 2023, these maestros will grace Melbourne and Sydney with their presence, bringing the art of Tango to life.

In Sydney, the excitement continues from September 28 to October 3, coinciding with the Labour Day Long Weekend in NSW. Embark on a special weekend where we have meticulously organized exhilarating Milongas and an array of workshops, ensuring an immersion into the world of Tango like no other.

Long Weekend Milongas

Join us for a fantastic weekend filled with passion, elegance, and the magic of Tango. We have planned three exhilarating Milongas over the Long Weekend that will leave you inspired and longing for more. These Milongas are organised in collaboration with A Little Buenos Aires, Patio de Tango and TangoEvents AU.

Meet & Greet Milonga

When: Friday, September 29, 2023 - 8:00pm - 12:00am.
Where: North Ryde School of Arts Community Hall, 201 Coxs Rd, North Ryde NSW 2113
Details: A chance to mingle with fellow Tango enthusiasts and welcome back Daniel Nacucchio & Cristina Sosa in Sydney. The night will feature the best Tango Tandas by DJ Pedro Alvarez.

Title: The Secrets of Tango Salon, "Compas & Elegancia"
Details: This workshop explores the secrets of Tango Salon with special emphasis on rhythm and elegance. Participants will learn sequences with a focus on musicality, elegance and spatial management.

Title: Musicality 1 - Dancing to D'Arienzo
Details: This workshop is designed to enhance your dancing techniques to the music of the great Maestro Juan D'Arienzo aka "El Rey del Compas". D'Arienzo's music is renowned for its energetic and rhythmic quality. In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to explore power, speed and the art of pausing in their dance.
